May has been off to a busy start for The Springs at Simpsonville. We kicked off the month with a wonderful Cinco de Mayo party for all the residents. We had tacos, chips & salsa along with “virgin margarita’s” on May 5th. The staff dressed up in their poncho’s and sombreros and a great time was had by all!

As always, I hope this finds YOU and YOUR FAMILY safe and in good health! It’s been a busy February between COVID testing, Valentine videos and vaccinations, but we have some great news to share! As of Monday, February 22nd, The Springs is once again COVID FREE.
On January 22, 2021 there were 101 residents, health care staff and partners of The Springs of Simpsonvillewho were vaccinated by CVS. Peggy Masterson stated it is the first time we have been on the offensive in this fight against COVID-19. Staff and residents celebrated as they received the vaccine that starts them on a process of achieving herd immunity and then slowly reuniting with families and friends. Many staff and residents gave testimonials of how the vaccine is vitally important to changing the way we live and to stop people from getting ill.
