The Springs at Simpsonville is proud to announce that our July Employee of the Month is Nina! Nina is hard-working, loving, and loyal, and we are lucky to have her on the team.
Nina is originally from Mexico, but she has lived in many places including San Diego and Charleston, and graduated from Hillcrest High School. She has a mother, one sister and two brothers, and two dogs and two cats!
When asked what three things she is most proud of in her life, Nina said her mother, her God, and life itself. In her free time, Nina loves to crochet and knit. She also enjoys shopping and going to church activities.
Nina has worked as a caregiver with The Springs at Simpsonville for 19 years. She loves to make the residents happy and she always enjoys hearing them talk about their families. If she’s learned one thing from working at The Springs at Simpsonville, it would be,
“Life is beautiful. Don’t waste it!”
Her coworker Heidi says, “Nina has been with The Springs since just right after opening. She is an outstanding caregiver with a kind and loving personality for all our residents. She’s always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needs it. Her loyalty to the residents and the company make her the wonderful person that she is today.”
Thank you for all your hard work and compassion, Nina! We are grateful that you’re part of our family!
