Hillcrest Middle School Band Christmas Concert at The Springs
We had the pleasure of hosting the Hillcrest Middle School Band this Christmas. They harmonized glorious Christmas songs and created joy for all to hear. We can’t wait for them to come see us again next Christmas!
Pet Therapy Visits Make Everything Merry and Bright!
McElyea’s McSchnauzers, brought an adorable schnauzer for us to pet this Christmas season. We are always thankful for those who share their fur babies with us.
Christmas 2021 Door Decorating Contest
This year we had numerous families, guests, and employees who decorated doors this year. Such thought and imagination went into decorating the doors, and they are downright cute! Thank you all who took the time to help make our residents’ Christmas brighter! The winner of the contest will be posted on our Facebook page in early January 2022.
American Heritage Girls Troop 5207 Christmas Visit
Thank you, American Heritage Girls Troop 5207, for the lovely Christmas cards and caroling. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you all, and the beautiful cards. Merry Christmas to you all!
2021 Simpsonville Christmas Parade
This year we had the pleasure of being in the Simpsonville Parade. The theme was “ National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. We decorated The Springs bus and golf cart and away we went! Our residents enjoyed waving at all of the smiling children, young and old. We even had time to snap a bus “selfie”!
Miss Amanda, our Director of Nursing, hosted a Christmas Craft Class
Wow was the activity area packed! We had numerous residents (and staff) who participated in ornament making. I’m not sure if it was because of who conducted the class or if it was the craft itself, but we were ecstatic to see all the smiling participants. The craft class was only supposed to last two hours and ended up lasting until dinner time. Talk about a good time! Can’t wait until next year’s Christmas Craft Class. Thank you, Miss Amanda!
