Mr. Van Broad serves as the community development director for the City of Mauldin, and he previously worked with the City of Fountain Inn. Broad earned his undergraduate degree in business and music from the College of Charleston, and he earned a certificate of economic development from the South Carolina Economic Development School. He and his wife, June, live in Fountain Inn and are active in supporting many local organizations.
