Katie Crotchett, LPN

Katie Crotchett grew up in Simpsonville and attended Hillcrest High School before going to college out West. Her parents grew up in the Greenville area, and her family continues to live in the area. Crotchett began working at The Springs as a caregiver when the community first opened. A move to Virginia when her husband was in law school took her away from The Springs for a while, and she continued her education as well while also working full time at a hospital. When she returned to the Simpsonville area, she began working at The Springs as the resident care coordinator. Crotchett is currently pursuing her RN degree. When asked what she loves most about The Springs, she doesn’t hesitate when she says, “I get so attached to everybody.” Rarely in her office, Crotchett prefers spending time on the floor at The Springs where she can be directly involved in oversight of resident care and where she can interact with the residents and staff. She knows firsthand what a special place The Springs is: both her grandmothers have lived at The Springs, and one of them is a current resident. Crotchett’s husband, Dan, is part of a family law practice in Greenville, and the couple has one son, Nolan. She enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys reading and doing crafts.
